Hard Boiled Eggs
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 8 Eggs
- 1 litre of hot tap water
Instructions
- Sit eggs in slow cooker.
- Cover fully with hot tap water. (My 1.5 litre slow cooker took approx. 1 litre of hot water)
- Turn slow cooker on high and cook for 1hr 30mins - times can vary in different slow cookers
Notes
- 8 eggs were the perfect amount for a 1.5 Slow Cooker size.
- You could use more depending on the size of your slow cooker, however times may vary as different slow cookers may vary in cooking time

Could you do 18-20 in a 3.5L cooker for the same amount of time…..I often have lots of egg sandwiches to make in the summer for a sports club ? Thanks in advance
For sure if you can fit them in go for it, just test a single one at the end to ensure it’s done to your liking before you take them all out 🙂
Works a treat. I’m renovating and don’t have a stove top. I used my baby 1.5 cooker and just covered the eggs with hot tap water. Remember to plunge the eggs in cold water once cooked so they don’t get a grey ring around the yolk. ?
