Ham, eggs and cheese buns

  • 4 bread rolls,
  • 4 slices of ham,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese,
  • 1/2 onion chopped small,
  • 1/2 capsicum diced ,
  • 1shallot diced


  • Cut the top off the bun, scoop out some of the bread,
  • Lay the ham into the bun, add onion,shallots and capsicum,
  • Gently add egg cover with cheese and than the top of the bun back on.
  • I covered mine with a tea towel
  • Cook on high for 1.5 - 2hrs

  1. What a brilliant idea 🙂
    Just put them on for lunch today – only took 1 hour in my Breville 7ltr, and next time I will check them at 00:45 and see if I can get a runnier egg.
    But they were great, easy and definitely going to have these again..
    The way the cheese oozes over the top – My kinda dish
