Greek Lamb Yiros

Yummy, tasty, EASY Greek style lamb yiros!

Ingredients
 

  • 1kg Leg of Lamb (bone in)
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 & 1/2 tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely grated or minced
  • Small handful of fresh mint, roughly chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine lemon juice, paprika, mint, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Rub all over the lamb
  • Put lamb in the slow cooker for 3 hours on high and 3 hours on low.
  • When the lamb is tender, cut or pull into chunks.
  • Brown lamb in the frying pan to get crispy then return to the slow cooker and the meat will absorb all the tasty cooking juices.
  • Serve in flat bread or wrap with salad and garlic sauce or however you like it!
