Greek Lamb Yiros
Yummy, tasty, EASY Greek style lamb yiros!
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 1kg Leg of Lamb (bone in)
- 1 Lemon
- 1 & 1/2 tablespoons Paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely grated or minced
- Small handful of fresh mint, roughly chopped
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Combine lemon juice, paprika, mint, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub all over the lamb
- Put lamb in the slow cooker for 3 hours on high and 3 hours on low.
- When the lamb is tender, cut or pull into chunks.
- Brown lamb in the frying pan to get crispy then return to the slow cooker and the meat will absorb all the tasty cooking juices.
- Serve in flat bread or wrap with salad and garlic sauce or however you like it!

Hi! So do u put the lamb in high for 3 hours , then brown in a pan and return on low for 3 hours? Thank u!
No both the 3hrs slow cooking is done first … then the next step is browning the chunks … then returning those to the slow cooker
