Sensational!! Please be warned… taste of these will most definitely cause excess consumption!! ?
We didn’t roll into balls , just spooned (dessert spoon) into cooker. Beautiful! Thank you!!

  3. just treated myself to the fabulous Sunbeam slow cooker. Which also can be used as a frying pan, steamer, deep fry. and steamerr i would like to try making the golden syrup dumplings but I don’t know which scone recipe to use can anyone please help me. I’m very new to slow cooking.

  4. Quick and easy to make, and perfect results every time. Greatly enjoyed by our teenage boys (and their parents!!)

  5. These were delicious, might mash banana in the dumpling mixture next time like Shays comment, cos I found them a bit stogy and floury . But the flavour of them was delish and the syrup was to die for

  6. Wow! This is delicious! I used gluten free SR flour so the whole family could enjoy it too. And I used the tea towel trick. I’ll definitely make this one again!!!

  7. Great recipe, worked really well.
Used a dark caster sugar as it was all I had, the sauce was really dark and was kinda toffee flavoured. I also used lactose free cream instead of regular

  8. What a yummy recipe!!
I made it last night and a definite hit.
The recipe doesn’t specify size of slow cooker so I made it in a 3L bowl. I would use my 5.5L next time as the dumplings stuck together and it turned out like a self saucing pudding.
I used a small ice cream scoop to shape the dumplings and used a tea towel for cooking.
It comfortably served 5 adults with leftovers for breakfast. Winning ?

  9. Absolutely delicious, massive hit in my household they all loved these. Made a few times now and each time I get the double thumbs up from everyone.

  10. For a first time making golden syrup dumplings and what a wow factor and i added a bit more lemonade and they were so moist and really tasty and i will make them again

  11. Please can someone tell me if this recipe is too much for the small 1.5 L slow cooker?
Would like to make tonight, but I’m cooking pickled pork in my 3L cooker thanks everyone

  12. Made for the first time tonight. Found them a bit doughy. Would that be because I didn’t use tea towel under lid?

  13. Can someone please reply to these questions : 1 WHY DOES IT TASTE DOUGHY TO SOME PEOPLE ??
2: DO YOU HAVE TO ADD THE LEMONADE ??
: 3 WHY THE TEA TOWEL & IS THE TEA TOWEL WET/ OR DRY ??
