Goat Shank Casserole

Ingredients
 

  • 4 - 6 goat shanks ( or any other shanks you have )
  • 1 leak, halved and sliced
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 2 onion sliced
  • 1 can crushed tomatos
  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • 1 sprig Thyme
  • 1 teaspoom black peppercorn
  • 350 ml red wine ( can be omited )
  • 600 ml chicken stock
  • 4 tablespoons flour and enoug water to make a paste
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Put everything in the slow cooker and let cook
  • Half hour before end of cooking ad flour mixture and stir to thicken sauce.
  • Serve with mashed potato, sweet potato, risotto, cous cous or soft polenta.
  • Enjoy
