Goat Shank Casserole
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 4 - 6 goat shanks ( or any other shanks you have )
- 1 leak, halved and sliced
- 2 carrots sliced
- 2 onion sliced
- 1 can crushed tomatos
- 12 garlic cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig Rosemary
- 1 sprig Thyme
- 1 teaspoom black peppercorn
- 350 ml red wine ( can be omited )
- 600 ml chicken stock
- 4 tablespoons flour and enoug water to make a paste
- Salt
Instructions
- Put everything in the slow cooker and let cook
- Half hour before end of cooking ad flour mixture and stir to thicken sauce.
- Serve with mashed potato, sweet potato, risotto, cous cous or soft polenta.
