Total Time 1 hour 40 minutes
Servings 30 spooons or less if needed

Ingredients

  • 500g of chocolate
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1 tbs vanilla essence
  • 1 x 395g can condensed milk
  • Decorations (found in cake section of supermarkets)
  • Spoons

Instructions

Cooking fudge

  • Place all ingredients into slow cooker
  • On Low - lid off
  • Stir every 15mins or so for 90mins - use a metal spoon to stir

Filling spoons

  • I purchased a large stack of inexpensive spoons for this and I bent each one just slightly so that it would sit on a tray without rolling over - this makes filling them easier
  • Spoon fudge mix onto each spoon to fill
  • Top with cake decorators of your choice, pressing in just slightly to fix them in place
  • A regular fudge mix will make around 30 spoons
  • Place tray of spoons in fridge until set and leave refrigerated until serving

Notes

  • Alternatively make only as many as you want then pour the remaining fudge into a lined tray and set as a regular block of fudge squares to serve as well as your spoons
  • Don't store in freezer then try to put the spoons on tongues 😉
  • Great party food!

  1. I also have a chocolate mould in a spoon shape to make chocolate spoons. this would be great to use with them because then you could eat the spoon as well. Lol, chocolate overload but who cares when it’s Christmas!
