Fruit Juice Cake - 2 Ingredients
Serving: 10
Ingredients
- 340 gram pkt cake mix
- 160ml (2/3 cup) fruit juice of choice
Instructions
- Combine ingredients well in mixing bowl
- Pour into lightly greased silicone loaf tin
- Place silicone tin into slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 1.5 - 2hrs
- (Cake pictured is vanilla home brand cake mix & Golden Circle Tropical 25% Fruit Juice)

If it’s a ceramic bowl slow cooker then yes I always advise that you add up to an inch of water in the bowl for cooking rather than dry.
I don’t do so for my metallic bowl types but you still could by all means if you feel more comfortable doing so 🙂
Do you have to put water in the bottom of the cooker for all these cakes then?
If I’m using a ceramic bowl cooker I will often put some shallow water in before I add the cake tin
In metallic searing cookers I don’t
