FRENCH TOAST DESSERT

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 slices one inch thick Brioche Bread
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup double cream
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons castor sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/8 teaspoon, (pinch) cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon, (pinch) icing sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat cooker on HIGH
  • Drop butter into cooker to melt.
  • Combine egg, cream, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl
  • Soak bread thoroughly and gently in mixture both sides
  • Place in cooker on HIGH for twenty minutes.
  • LID OFF.
  • Turn bread gently with egg flip.
  • Cook on HIGH for a further twenty minutes.
  • LID OFF.
  • Sprinkle with icing sugar.
  • Serve with a scoop of ice cream.
