  1. I made this with 6 chump chops fat removed, and browned my meat and celery and 1/2 onion as I had no leeks,, had to add more water maybe 2&1/2 cups with 2 chicken stock cubes instead of one cup .I added one can of lentils. Cooking time was less ,it was so delicious and tender this one is a winner in my books. Its also was cooked before the storm came and the power was out ,so winner in my books.

  2. Easy to make….had all ingredients except celery and forgot to coat chops in flour.
However it was extremely tasty and I added some gravy powder to thicken which made it nice and rich.
    Yum yum

  3. Lovely meal, beautiful taste.

I did make a few changes. I didn’t fry the chops, just put them in, added onion instead of leeks. About an hour later I added in 4 tomatoes – that needed to be used up. Thickened it at the end with Maggi Rich Gravy Mix…will be making this one again…

  4. Cooking this tomorrow and I have a few strips of bacon to use up, was thinking about dicing and adding at the start of the cook, what do others think please

What a lovely meal. I didnt have leeks, but onion worked fine and I added some garlic. As I was looking for an all in one dish I added carrot and potato at the beginning as well. It cooked exactly as timed and the meat fell apart. I thickened the gravy with Maggi Rich Gravy Mix. Served with minted peas. Delicious. Will be making this again as a family favourite.

I made this last night. Super easy. I added some carrot and pumpkin to the veggie mix ( kids didn’t even know) served it with mashed potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower.
