Fish Chowder
Serving: 8
Ingredients
- 1 litre of chicken stock
- 4 fish fillets (I used basa)
- 1 diced onion
- 3 sliced carrots
- 3 roughly diced potatoes
- 3 stalks of sliced celery
- 3 diced mini capsicums (bell peppers) 250grams diced bacon
- 1 tin evaporated milk
- 1 tin creamed corn
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of paprika
Instructions
- 1. Fry off onion, bacon, mini capsicums until onions become transparent.
- 2. Add stock, potatoes, carrots, celery, corn, garlic powder, paprika, alnog with the onion, bacon capsicums. Cook on high for 3 hours
- 3. Add fish cut into bite sized pieces cook for a further hour
- 4. Give a rough blitz and serve
