Family Mac and Cheese
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 500g macaroni
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup cheese
- 3 rashers bacon
- Extra cheese for topping
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir.
- Cook on low for 3 hours, stir occasionally if you are home.
- After 3 hours stir again then add the extra cheese for the topping and leave on low for another 30 minutes.
- I used a 3lt slow cooker.

Took half the time to cook and tasted chalky so do I ended up making a quick white sauce
