  • 2 cups sifted SR. Flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 125g melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • Tsp vanilla
  • Desired gel or liquid colour


  • Cream butter and sugar
  • Beat in eggs and add vanilla and milk
  • Fold in flour
  • Pour in to cup cake cases until half full
  • Using a toothpick dip in to desired colour (I used gel but liquid should be fine) and swirl in to the top of each cupcake
  • Put in to heated SC making sure they do not touch the sides on high for 1 hour with tea towel under lid
