Easy Fish Pie
Serving: 2
Ingredients
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 celery sticks, grated
- 300g fish pie mix (smoked haddock, cod, salmon)
- large handful grated cheddar
- dried parsley
- juice of 1 lemon
- salt and pepper (use own judgement)
- cold mashed potato
Instructions
- Mix everything except the mashed potato in the slow cooker, and cook on high for one hour.
- Give a good stir and make sure thoroughly mixed and not in clumps
- Spoon the cold potato over the top, and cook on low for 3 hours

Made this for dinner tonight, quite tasty. Made some adjustments used hoki fresh fish , also a can of smoked salmon, for the celery I sliced it very thin . Cooked as in recipe. I think next time I would do the tea towel trick as it was a little watery on top. Will be adding to my list of favourites. Thank you Nicky for a nice recipe.
