This is such an easy and delicious recipe! I used 1kg diced chicken breast and doubled the sauce ingredients except for onion and didn’t add lemon rind. We served it on steamed rice. Another easy go to recipe that my whole family loves, thanks again Jodi Johnson π

This is a recipe my grandmother taught me to make when I was 12 years old. I have now been making this for over 30 years and have always received great feedback. The only difference with my recipe is that I also add a whole green capsicum diced and I don’t measure the spice, sauces, sugar etc, I just add and go by taste testing.

Very tasty
Didn’t put in the lemon rind. I also reduced the sauce afterwards on the stovetop and put it through a sieve

Delicious!
I didnt add lemon rind but followed everything else. Cooked for 8hrs on low instead of 2-3hrs on high.
Turned out so juicy and the chicken fell apart.
