Creamy Tuna Pasta

Ingredients
 

  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 1 packet x French onion soup mix (or any powdered stock)
  • 1 tsp onion flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 400g tin of tuna (drained)
  • 250g dried raw pasta
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions
 

  • In slow cooker bowl mix together cream, soup mix (or stock if using), onion flakes, garlic powder and basil.
  • Add tuna, pasta and grated cheese
  • Stir to combine.
  • Cook on LOW for 1.5 hours or until pasta is just cooked.
  • Check if more water needed and add as required

  1. Made this last night and it was yummy!
    I used 1/2 packet of French onion soup as I had it left over from something else and added a couple of teaspoons of vegetable stock powder. Also used carnation light cooking cream instead of thickened cream as that is what I had. Added some frozen peas, corn and carrots. Found I needed to add more water throughout cooking.
