Creamy Tuna Pasta
Ingredients
- 300ml thickened cream
- 1 packet x French onion soup mix (or any powdered stock)
- 1 tsp onion flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp dried basil
- 1.5 cups water
- 400g tin of tuna (drained)
- 250g dried raw pasta
- 1 cup grated cheese
Instructions
- In slow cooker bowl mix together cream, soup mix (or stock if using), onion flakes, garlic powder and basil.
- Add tuna, pasta and grated cheese
- Stir to combine.
- Cook on LOW for 1.5 hours or until pasta is just cooked.
- Check if more water needed and add as required

I use 1 can of cream of mushroom soup instead of the heavy cream .
Made this last night and it was yummy!
I used 1/2 packet of French onion soup as I had it left over from something else and added a couple of teaspoons of vegetable stock powder. Also used carnation light cooking cream instead of thickened cream as that is what I had. Added some frozen peas, corn and carrots. Found I needed to add more water throughout cooking.
