Creamy Mushroom Chicken – Obsession Style

1kg skinless chicken thigh fillets

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

1 pkt french onion soup mix (dry)

2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 cup mushrooms roughly chopped

1 small onion diced


1Place chicken thigh fillets in bowl and add onions and mushrooms on top of the chicken

2Combine other ingredients and pour over chicken

3Cook on low for 4-6hrs depending on your slow cooker

4If you desire, take out chicken fillets and slice then return to the pot to stir through prior to serving

5If needed, thicken sauce by mixing 1 tbsp cornflour and a little water and stir through in last 30mins of cooking time.

Had this last night. I didn’t have any French onion soup so used a packet of cream of chicken instead. Turned out really nice and everyone loved it so I will do this again.

Made it for dinner today…It was bloody awesome..Will definitely be making it again..I used chicken breast and did not shred it and added cornflour slurry to thicken

Yes you can just give beef longer .. around 6-7hrs to be tender πŸ™‚

Could I possibly used Diced beef ?

Sure can πŸ™‚ I find breast a little more dry so I prefer thigh fillets but you can use breast too

Trying this for the first time today. Do you trim any fat off the chicken thighs first or just put them in as they come?

This was absolutely beautiful!!! I shredded the chicken once cooked but it just practically fell apart anyway!!! Will definitely cook this again πŸ™‚
