  1. This is a really tasty meal! I pretty much stuck to the recipe but used thighs instead of breasts and omitted the chilli powder. I also threw in some vegies toward the end to have a sensational one pot meal! Will definitely make this one again. Thanks for the awesome recipe Sharon.

  2. Oh excellent, glad you gave it the thumbs up Sheps! Think I’ll try the thought next time too :). With chilli lol. ??

  3. Really yummy! I used thighs instead of breasts and left out the chilli powder and bush spices but the flavours were still outstanding. Will definitely be making this again.

  4. I’ve been eating this for 3 days now mixing penne paster in at the end and let warm for another 20 mins makes it even better this s**t is the bomb

Sorry but we really didn’t enjoy this. It was way too runny & didn’t have a lot of flavour.

  6. Sensational! This is the 3rd time I have made it (tonight). Not runny at all. I use thigh instead of breast. Serve with mash or rice.

  7. Cooked this for the 1st time tonight n really enjoyed it even though I left out a few ingredients as I didn’t have them, I used mixed spice instead of bush spices (I have neva heard of this spice b4 lol ) , I also didn’t have any chilli powder n I put half tbsp minced garlic in as I had no garlic cloves!!! Once the chicken was cooked, I shredded it n mixed rice n peas through!!! It was delicious!!! Will definitely make this again πŸ™‚ thanku for sharing your lovely recipe with us Sharon πŸ˜‰

  8. I forgot to take chicken out of the freezer last night. Would I be able to do this on HIGH for 3-4 hours?

  9. Sorry, what I meant is cook it on high once it had defrosted. I didn’t see your reply for some reason, so came up with another dinner idea. Will retry another time.

  10. Cooked this today as per recipe but minus bush spices (what are they!?). I didn’t measure the chilli so came out a little too hot for the younger kids, even with the addition of sour cream, but the teenager and I enjoyed it. I shredded the chicken into big chunks before serving on white rice. Nice dish for this cold weather!

  11. Absolutely delicious! Made according to directions except for “Bush Spices” – what even is that?? ?

  12. Delicious! So easy! I didn’t have mushrooms and forgot the sour cream and it was still amazing. We had it on rice. The sunbeam secret chef slow cooker runs very hot and our chicken was done in 4 hours on low. I think it would be awesome with some diced veggies as a pie filling too!

Super easy recipe. Very tasty. Added a little red wine near the end. Only because I wanted to throw in a handful of pasta. Otherwise didn’t have to change a thing???
