Creamy Chicken and Mushrooms

  • 1kg Chicken thigh fillets, sliced
  • 500g Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 250mls Chicken stock
  • 125mls Milk
  • 125mls Cream
  • 1 tblspn Lemon juice
  • 2 tblspns Cornflour
  • Pinch cracked Pepper


  • Place chicken, mushrooms and onions in slow cooker bowl.
  • Combine milk and cream in jug, stir in cornflour.
  • Pour milk mix over chicken.
  • Use stock to rinse milk mix from jug, add to sc bowl with lemon juice.
  • Cook on low for 5-6hrs (Contempo 5.5L sc)
