Simple and tasty. One the whole family are sure to love.

500g of diced chicken

1 tin of cream of chicken soup

1 packet of cheddar sauce mix

100g of grated cheddar

Peas and carrots if desired

2 or 3 cups of pasta (I used tubes)

Salt, pepper and parsley to season


1Add the chicken to the slow cooker and any veg if your are using it.

2Season with salt, pepper and parsley.

3Mix the soup with the cheddar sauce mix.

4Pour all over the chicken.

5Cook on Low for 3hours.

6Then add the grated cheese and pasta and mix well.

7Cover and cook for a further 1 hour.

8Dish up and enjoy with steamed veg and mashed potato.

You could double the soup 🙂

I have made this twice now in a 5.7L Crockpot. The taste is delicious but unfortunately the meal is always dry in texture. I even added 1/4 cup milk the second time round after pasta was cooked and stirred it in. Can anyone pls recommend what i can do to make this recipe more moist?
