Cream of Celery Soup
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1 Brown onion chopped
- 1 Bunch celery, leafy tops removed, chopped
- 500g Potato peeled and chopped
- 2 heaped Tspn minced garlic
- 1.5ltr Massel chicken stock
- 3/4 cup cream
- Season with salt & cracked pepper
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in slow cooker (except cream) and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Blend and add cream, stir through and serve with crusty bread.

Tried this tonight. It is so tasty. However if I did it again I would remove the strands from the sticks of celery before chopping. After I blitzed it, there were fibres through my soup. Simple fix and I will definitely do it again.
Made this tonight and it was yum! Great way to use up leftover celery at the end of the week. Hubby had seconds!
