Chocolate Caramel Nut Slice
Ingredients
- 200g plain milk chocolate
- 100g caramel (filled) milk chocolate
- 3 x mars bar snack size, chopped
- 6 x picnic snack size, chopped
- 1.5 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup salted peanuts
- 3 cups cocoa pops
- 2.5 tbsp margarine or soft butter
Instructions
- Spray with oil and line a small slice pan with baking paper.
- Set SC to high.
- Pop the 200g milk chocolate and 100g caramel milk chocolate and butter into SC, stirring quite regularly. Note- easier to melt when broken into pieces.
- Once nearly all melted toss in peanut butter and chopped Mars and Picnics bars, leave to melt a short while then stir.
- Add the peanuts and coco pops and stir to combine.
- Add combined mixture to slice pan and press firmly with back of spoon.
- Set in fridge for at least 30 mins.
- Once set remove from tray and slice into squares.
Notes
- I used Aldi brand chocolate bars, substitutes for recipe could be the 200g Cadbury Dairy milk and 100g Caramello chocolate bar.
- Slice pan is 28cm x 18cm.
