Chicken & Veg In Lemon Cream Sauce
This was slowly forming in my head for days, then I finally decided to see how it would turn out. It’s so good, we have it at least once a fortnight now!
Serving: 5
Ingredients
- 5 Chicken thighs (bone in)
- 3 Carrots, cut into 1inch thick pieces
- 8 Baby red potatoes par boiled
- 3 Corn on the cob, cut in half
- 1 Red onion cut into wedges
- 1 lemon cut into wedges
- 4 sprigs Rosemary & Thyme
- A knob of butter
- Salt & pepper to taste.
- Sauce -
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 TBS minced garlic
- 2 TBS plain flour
Instructions
- Brown the chicken, & add chicken along with all veggies to the slow cooker
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together lemon juice, chicken stock, & flour. Pour over chicken & veggies
- Add herbs to the slow cooker. Season With salt & pepper & for butter over everything.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

it taste good but its not really creamy needs something added not just flour but
i will give it another go and maybe see what i could add to it a bit oily to .
