Chicken pie
Serving: 6
Ingredients
Pie
- 40 grams butter
- 1 onion diced
- 3 chicken breasts diced
- 250 grams bacon diced or shredded ham
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 300ml sour cream
Cheesy damper top
- 1 cup SR flour sifted
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
For the pie
- Dice onion and chicken and place in slow cooker bowl with bacon or ham mix in can of soup and the sour cream stir together.
- Put on low for 6 -8 hrs or high for 4-6 hours
Cheesy top
- mix flour, egg, milk and 1 and 1/2 cups of cheese until just combined put on top of chicken about 1.5hrs before due to serve. You can put it on at the start but I found it cooked to much and lost it's flavor.
- I found if you have a large oval slow cooker to double the recipe

I use 4 breasts, add some mushrooms and a chicken stock cube. Follow recipe as is and enjoyed it very much with cinnamon pumpkin and green beans. Thank you, Chontayne!
