Chicken Necks and Samp
A South African dish with chicken and corn kernals
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 1.5 Cups Samp (soaked overnight)
- 1kg Chicken necks
- 1x Cube chicken stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker on high for 8 hours.
- Then dish up and enjoy 🙂
Notes
- Melanie explains "Samp is a South African food consisting of dried corn kernels that have been stamped and chopped until broken"
- The bones are cooked very soft the whole day. It is your choice how you want to eat. My husband eats just the meat off them, I eat the whole thing.
