Chicken Cheese and Bacon Meatballs

  • 1 Kilo chicken mince
  • 6-8 slices shortcut bacon - diced
  • 2 large handfuls of grated cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 2 handfuls of breadcrumbs (i had no breadcrumbs, so i used Tandaco brand Stuffing mix)
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Sauce Mixture

  • 2 x tins cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 x French onion soup mix
  • 1 x carton of sour cream


  • Mix all of the Meatball ingredients well, and roll into meatballs, approx size of small rissoles.
  • Stir Sauce mixture ingredients till they are blended, and pour over meatballs.
  • Cook on auto for 7hrs
  • Enjoy!
  • *note for those who may not have the option, Auto is often 2hrs on high then it becomes low*

  1. Paulene, this is one my my fave of your own recipes. I made it ages ago and wanted a Winter tummy warmer tonight so put it on again and the kids were beside themselves with excitement and all had clean plates. I serve with plain rice and pour the sauce all through it. Soooo good!!

  2. Made this tonight but used one tin mushroom soup and one tin cream of chicken soup. I only used half kilo of chicken mince. Only cooked 1 hour high and 3 low as my slow cooker runs hot. Was lovely we all liked it. I served with fettuccini pasta and a few vegies for hubby.
