Chicken, Bacon and leek pasta

  • 3 chicken breasts,
  • 4 bacon rashers diced,
  • onion diced,
  • 1 large leek,
  • Tbs garlic,
  • 2tbs whole grain mustard,
  • Tspn ginger,
  • 1 cup white wine,
  • Tbs each chicken and gourmet vegetta stock
  • Tub sour cream,
  • pasta


  • I did this all in my slow cooker as I have a searing one but you can do the searing in a pan .
  • Dice onions and leek cook till onions are translucent and leeks soft
  • Add everything else but sour cream to slow cooker on high for 1 1/2 hours then down to low.
  • Take chicken out and shred then add it back in
  • Just before ready, cook pasta as per normal on stove and add sour cream to slow cooker
  • Serve and enjoy

  1. Love this! Admittedly I accidentally put half a bottle of wine in as I wasn’t paying attention (lol) but it still turned out quite yum!
