Chicken and veggie soup
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 6 x Chicken drumsticks
- 1x Can of chicken noodle soup ( or chicken noodle soup sachet)
- 3x carrot
- 3x potatoes
- 1x swede
- 1x sweet potato
- 1x parsnip
- 1x turnip
- 4 celery sticks
- 1x onion diced
- 100g mckenzie soup mix (split peas)
- 1 litre of chicken stock
- 1 litre of water
Instructions
- Place drumsticks into SC
- Grate in all vegetables (chop the celery)
- Pour in the chicken noodle soup, chicken stock and water and put in your split peas.
- Cook on low for 4 hours, then remove chicken off the drumsticks and cook for another 1 hour.
