Chicken and Sausage Braise with Mushrooms
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- Chicken drumsticks - 1 per person
- Italian sausages - 1 per person
- 600g button mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tblspn tomato paste
- 1 tsp oregano
- Pinch sea salt
- 2 tblspns cornflour
- 200 grams grape tomatoes
Instructions
- Place drumsticks and sausages in slow cooker bowl alternating drumstick, sausage.
- Sprinkle garlic, salt and oregano over meat, add mushrooms on top.
- Combine stock, vinegar, tomato paste and cornflour in jug.
- Pour into slow cooker bowl.
- Cook for 5hrs on high (Contempo 5.5L sc)
- Serve with pasta.
- Cut tomatoes in half and scatter over top.
