Cherry Dessert Sauce

Ingredients
- 900g fresh cherries, rinsed and pitted
- 25g butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tbsp corn flour
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients into a 1.5L slow cooker.
- Stir gently to mix.
- Cook on High for 1 hour, then Low for 2 hours.
- Keep on boiling until the sauce becomes thick and gooey.
- Tip: No added water since cherries were rinsed and still wet.
- Serve Cherry Sauce with desserts. A traditional Danish Christmas dessert is "Ris a la mande" or creamy rice pudding with slivered almonds, topped with cherry sauce.
