Instructions
- Condensed milk caramel
- 2x tins condensed milk in slow cooker covered in water for 5-8 hours on LOW depending on your slow cooker. Then cool for a few hours afterwards.
- Base
- 1 cup of plain flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar & desiccated coconut
- 125gr melted butter
- Then mix to form a crumbly base mix press into lined tray bake for 15 - 20 mins till golden brown at 180 degrees
- While the base is in the oven get your 2 tins of "condensed milk caramel made in slow cooker" & 1/4 tin of condensed milk (this isnt neccesary i only used to give it a lil extra sweetness) & lightly warm up over stove till runny enough to pour onto base.
- Pour this over base and then
- I have put mine back in oven for 15 mins bake at 180 degrees.
- Let cool for a few hours. It needs to be at least room temp or cooler. If impatient like me put in freezer for 30 mins before putting chocolate on top.
- Melt 2 blocks of chocolate and pour over top spread evenly and then set overnight in fridge.
