  • smoked ham/gammon joint (fat removed)
  • 2 tins baked beans
  • 6 tbsps tomato puree
  • 2-3 garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 orange peppers diced
  • 1 red chilli finely chopped
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika


  • Place ham joint in slow cooker and add all ingredients.
  • Cook on low all day with lid on.
  • Use two forks and pull apart meat, mix through with rest of mixture to coat.
