Camembert, bacon and spinach chicken roll – Canola, Gluten and Soy free
Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 1 whole deboned chicken
- Shortcut bacon
- Camembert cheese, sliced in 4 length wise (rounds)
- Handful spinach leaves
- 2 carrots, sliced in 3 length wise
- 10 cloves garlic, peeled
Instructions
- Lay chicken out skin side down.
- Layer camembert, spinach, bacon and roll up.
- Lay carrot strips in bottom of slow cooker bowl and sit chicken roll on top.
- Sprinkle garlic around chicken.
- Cook for 5hrs on high (5.5L Sunbeam Slow cooker)
- *Optional*add 1tblsp of cornflour to juices with about an hour to go to thicken.
- Remove chicken to plate and mash juices, carrots and garlic to make a sauce.
