These were delish! The flavours were beautiful, I added some cornflower at the end to thicken the sauce as a personal preference and served with mashed potato. The rice wasn’t fully cooked however so I would partly precook it before adding to the mixture next time but it didn’t affect the overall taste – winner in this house!

These turned out much tastier than I expected, I added some cornflour to make the sauce thicker – it was lovely with mashed potato!

  3. This was very yummy (I added minced garlic to mince mix) Recipe worked well to make 9 cabbage rolls and had leftover mince mixture so made mini porcupine meatballs too ? had roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese as sides. Will make again for sure! (I’ll make sure I use whole cabbage leaves and not use a quarter the night before! Made it a bit difficult to create the rolls!)

  4. This was a yummy meal, made roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese as sides. I added minced garlic to mince mix and had leftover mince after creating 9 cabbage rolls to fit in my slow cooker, so I made mini porcupine meatballs too. I used two tins of tomato soup (smaller ones). I’ll make this again but before cutting the cabbage for another meal the night before so the leaves are whole! Makes it easier to roll the mix.

  5. Well I found it tricky with getting cabbage leaves in tact to construct my rolls. But very yummy!! I will use salt and pepper in mince next time . Will definitely cook again!! And going to try wombok cabbage next time.
