  1. I did this with sausages once it’s amazing 😀 trying with chuck steak strips today and a cup of blitzed mushrooms

  2. Had this for dinner tonight, it was AMAZING!!! I doubled all ingredients bar the steak and onion as I wasnt going to be home to give it a little stir. Was on from 8.30am until roughly 6pm. Meat just fell apart! Sauce was a little runny due to me doubling the recipe, so I just stirred some corn flour and took the lid off for awhile.

  3. I thought it was such a simple recipe that it wasn’t going to be very good, but I tried it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definetly have this again.

  4. Smashing, this is the first time I have made this, I used diced beef and added sliced mushrooms about 2hrs before it was ready absolutely lovely. With 3 teenage boys this is perfect for leftovers in the fridge especially when the eldest son and partner do shift work easy to come hpme and heat up on toast or with fresh bread. YUMM!!

  5. I made this last night and everyone loved it. So easy and I’m a really basic cook that doesn’t experiment. Will be making this again for our family of 5.

  6. Firstly loved the look of the recipe so going to try it out over the weekend but have a couple of questions before I do? What is seasoned flour obviously has some sort of seasoning added to the flour but what and how much? Question 2 is gravy beef ok to use as I make all my Indian curries with this?

  7. Do u need to brown the steak first?
After shaking.. do you throw it all (including seasoned flour) into slow cooker?
    Cheers n ty

  8. I made this today for the first time but halved the recipe to fit in my 1.5 litre sc. I didn’t flour the meat first, instead I thickened it with a slurry of plain flour and water at the end of cooking. The flavours were amazing and this will be a regular in our house from now on. Thanks for such a quick easy recipe.
