  • 2kg beef ribs
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup horseradish cream
  • 1 tsp tobasco sauce


  • Season ribs with salt & pepper.
  • I sear my ribs first in a hot oven (250C) for 30 mins, but this can be omitted.
  • Place all other ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • Place ribs in slow cooker and cover with sauce. Cook on low for 8 hours.
