Equipment

  • 3.5 L Vintage Monier Slow Cooker

Ingredients
 

  • 900 grams Blade steak, diced
  • 4 Potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 3 Carrots peeled and chopped
  • 3 Sweet Potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium onions diced fine
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 Beef stock cubes
  • 2 Tablespoons Fruit Chutney
  • Good dash dried Thyme
  • Good dash died Rosemary
  • 1 Bay leaf

Instructions
 

  • Add diced steak to fry pan and fry 5 minutes.
  • Add chopped vegetables in slow cooker bowl.
  • Add fried steak to slow cooker bowl.
  • Add water, stock cubes herbs, bay leaf, chutney stir well.
  • Cooked on HIGH 3 hours, then dropped to LOW 4 hours.
  • ***Vintage Moniers are very slow.
  • Please check if your slow cookers run fast /hot. Adjust cooking time according to your slow cooker….not all cookers cook the same 🙏❤️
