I was blown away by the flavours in this pork recipe. Meat was so tender & the gravy was thick & rich.

How much weight would you say the meat is?

I hadn’t found a pork recipe that I enjoyed in the slow cooker until I cooked this. Yum! Meat was super tender and sauce was delicious.

Made this today, a big hit with the family! I added a full TSP of paprika and garlic, everything else as per recipe. Will definitely make again.

I used condensed soups and did not add mushrooms. I think I will try the normal “Cream Of” soups next time. I also used a 2.5 kg Pork Shoulder roast and cut it into steak size portions, which still left plenty of gravy. Pretty darn good.

I would myself ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you take the crackle rid off before cooking??

Sooooo good! Plates licked clean. Didn’t have any cream of chicken soup though, made up a sachet of chicken noodle soup with 1 cup of water, then half hour before serving mixed in a touch of cornflour and cooking cream

Loved these. Both my fussy children devoured them. Served them with mash and vegies. Hubby also had a double serving. Great recipe.

We don’t have one ๐Ÿ™‚

Omg this recipe is truly one of the best for pork chops i have ever tried. It was just full of flavor even the kids loved it so one happy mummy!! Also just a tip for you with regards to browning/searing the chops well I didn’t do this as I wanted to just throw everything in at once. Basically I ended up cooking them on high for 6 hours and it was perfect even the meat was Browned on top and on the sides like as if I cooked it in a pan but yet the meat was so soft was falling of the bone.

This was amazing! My husband just got me to send the link to his friends! Best meal heโ€™s had in ages he said!

Tracey has let me know “I used condensed soups. I also used shoulder chops with the rind removed”
