Beef Stroganoff
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- 1 kg blade steak (beef) cut into strips
- 2 onion sliced
- 3 cloves garlic clove crushed
- 500 g mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 2 tbs paprika
- 250 mls beef stock (liquid)
- 1 tbs mustard
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Place all ingredients into the slow cooker except the mushrooms and sour cream.
- 2. Stir well to combine.
- 3. Cook on auto for 7-9 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
- 4. Add mushrooms 1 hour before serving and add sour cream 20 minutes before serving.
- 5. Serve with pasta, rice or mashed potato

This was really yummy, whole family loved it.
This was yum. Toddler ate the whole lot (minus the mushroom of course ?).
Loved this recipe so much made it a second time.
I used 1 can tomato soup as didnt have puree, & “Lamb” instead of beef… ??…sauce is divine!
I made this the other night as my fussy 12yo wanted beef stroganoff in the slow cooker. I normally use the master foods packet mix but didn’t have one. So jumped on to find a recipe and miss fussy went back for thirds.
made today driven crazy with the delish smell emerging from the cooker. only change I made was added some wostershire sauce and added extra onion and garlic due to personal taste. rest was as is in recipe
