It's a BBQ chicken recipe when you can just 'chuck it all in'

  • Yields: 3 Servings


1kg of chicken drumsticks

1 bottle of smokey BBQ marinade

2 teaspoons of garlic

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon of chilli flakes (optional)


1Wash your chicken in cold water, dry it with paper towels and chuck it in the SC

2Chuck the rest of your ingredients in the slow cooker

3Mix it all up till fully coated

4Set it on low and cook for 5-6 hours

5It maybe too hot for some people, if you don't want it spicy, just leave out the chilli

Could you use skin on bone in thighs please

Yes they can
I’d just shuffle the layers over half way through cooking myself
A bottle is around 200ml – 250ml

Can the drumsticks be layered? And 1 bottle is roughly how many ml? Thanks!

Using this recipe as “inspiration” changed a few ingredients and added a few, but just chucked it all in. Added a small amount of ginger, dark brown sugar, smoked paprika and used chicken thigh fillets. Looking forward to dinner!
