I cooked this for dinner tonight and it was great-cooked for 7 hours on low and used the meat to make wraps! (Salad, cheese, tortillas ect) used sour cream as a sauce in the wraps. I think it would do really well with a squeeze or 2 of fresh lime juice and maybe some zest. Very cheap and tastes amazing.

  2. Made this for the first time tonight. The smell drove us crazy all day and it didn’t disappoint when meal time came around. Heaps of rice sauce so we shredded the brisket and mixed through

  3. I made this recipe with a rolled beef brisket but unrolled it to put in slow cooker. The meat was fantastic soft, BBQ flavoured pulled beef by the end. Used the beef that night in tacos, and then next day in burrito for lunch. Will definitely be using this recipe again! Thanks SCC

  4. I have cooked this before – was great. House smells amazing when cooking. I managed to pick up some cheap pork roasts and was wondering if the recipie would still work well. Was going to substitute the beef stock with chicken stock.

  5. I served this for NYE, but I cooked it beforehand, let it cool, then put sauce through sieve and let that cool. Took the set fat off. Then sliced the meat really thinly covered it with the sauce and reheated it in oven. It was tender, moist and the flavours were AMAZING. Will do this again definitely.

  6. Thank you Jarrah King!! First time I’ve done brisket and I really enjoyed your recipe. It has also given me all sorts of ideas for other brisket dishes!! I added Beerenberg Sticky Rib Sauce into the marinade and also had to use cajun seasoning in place of cayenne, as I have run out of cayenne. Really yummy!!

  7. Made this for a family get together yesterday. Followed the recipe as written. It went down a treat. Everyone liked it. Served with rice and coleslaw. Will definitely make again. Thank you for a lovely recipe. ?

  8. Yum! We left out the cayenne. Delicious and tender, shreds like a dream using a fork. We serve it on brioche buns with slaw, jack cheese and chipotle sauce. Will be making this time and time again!

  9. Had a 2.5kg beef brisket and so I doubled the ingredients. Later found out that wasn’t necessary. Did not impact the taste or flavour. Absolutely delicious. Will make again.

  10. First time ever having brisket or cooking it for that matter! Inspired of young sheldon!! Lol And Mee maws oh so good brisket ? however used this recipe. Did not change a thing, and oh. My.
