Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake
Serving: 8
Ingredients
- 25g butter, softened
- 100g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
- 3 very ripe medium bananas (about 200g each)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 225g (11/2 cups) self-raising flour
- 11/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tbsp of smooth peanut butter
- 60g cream cheese, softened
- 30g butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup icing sugar mixture
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
Instructions
- For the cake ,I made 2 of these and placed on top of each other with a layer of the butter icing in between
- Cream butter and sugar together ,then add I egg at a time ,then add rest of the ingredients ,until mixed
- Add to a greased spring form tin ,put in sc on high with tea towel under the lid for 2hrs or check afterr 1 hr
- Mix all ingredients until smooth
- Put a layer on one cake and put the other on top ,smooth over the cream cheese frosting and refrigerate ,
