  • Custard
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 litre of milk
  • Dash of vanilla
  • Sugar to taste
  • Caramel
  • 1cup of sugar
  • A a small teaspoon of water


  • Make caramel first by putting in a small saucepan sugar and water. Please do not stir!! When golden brown pour in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • For the custard put all ingredients into a medium bowl and whisk until sugar is dissolved and pour over caramel. Place a tea towel under the lift of the slow cooker and cook for2 hrs on low
