Baked Custard - alternate version -
Serving: 6
Ingredients
- Custard
- 8 eggs
- 1 litre of milk
- Dash of vanilla
- Sugar to taste
- Caramel
- 1cup of sugar
- A a small teaspoon of water
Instructions
- Make caramel first by putting in a small saucepan sugar and water. Please do not stir!! When golden brown pour in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- For the custard put all ingredients into a medium bowl and whisk until sugar is dissolved and pour over caramel. Place a tea towel under the lift of the slow cooker and cook for2 hrs on low
