EmailTweet 2 Full-screen Bacon and Veg Dip Condiments/Preserves October 2, 2016 Bacon and Veg Dip 0 0 5 0 A classic warm dip Prep: 10 mins Cook: 1 hr 30 mins 10 mins 1 hr 30 mins 1 hr 40 mins Yields: 2 1/2 cups Ingredients4 slices shortcut bacon chopped any visible fat removed 1/4 cup corn kernels (these can be fresh, tinned or frozen that have been defrosted) 1 stick celery chopped 1/4 of a capsicum chopped 1 1/2 tbsp. French onion soup 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese 1 cup sour cream Oven bag Toasted bread and veg strips for serving Directions1Place all ingredients into bowl and mix well. 2Place mixture into oven bag. 3Cover bottom of sc insert with water. 4Have some foil balls to raise bag out of water. 5Twist top of oven bag and place into sc. 6Cook on high for 1 1/2 hours. 7After cooking time, carefully open bag and roll down the sides. 8Stir and serve leaving bag in sc to keep warm Notes 1If doing more then one dip use foil to make a wall between the oven bags to keep them upright, saw method on the internet.
