Bacon and Veg Dip
A classic warm dip
Serving: 2
Ingredients
- 4 slices shortcut bacon chopped any visible fat removed
- 1/4 cup corn kernels (these can be fresh, tinned or frozen that have been defrosted)
- 1 stick celery chopped
- 1/4 of a capsicum chopped
- 1 1/2 tbsp. French onion soup
- 1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- Oven bag
- Toasted bread and veg strips for serving
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into bowl and mix well.
- Place mixture into oven bag.
- Cover bottom of sc insert with water.
- Have some foil balls to raise bag out of water.
- Twist top of oven bag and place into sc.
- Cook on high for 1 1/2 hours.
- After cooking time, carefully open bag and roll down the sides.
- Stir and serve leaving bag in sc to keep warm
Notes
- If doing more then one dip use foil to make a wall between the oven bags to keep them upright, saw method on the internet.
