  1. Made these tonight, family loved them. Prepared the meatballs the night before then added them to the slow cooker with the sauces. Served with fried rice…yummy

  2. Made this recipe so quick and easy
Had with rice and mixed veg stirfry packet
Cooked for 4 hours. Turn out yummy my Husband ate it all nice meal

  3. Yes very nice thanks and worked a treat with the boys. I used a kilo if normal mince and doubled everything. Perfect.

  4. These were extremely easy to make and very tasty. I dipped them in the sauce before I put them in the 5.5l sc, then tipped the remaining sauce over them. 3 hours low and they were perfect and held together well. They sat very well on fried rice (Recipe 2 on site). I defintiely recommend them and will do them again.

  5. These meatballs were so tasty and easy to make, I substituted the pork mince for chicken mince and I served with a Japanese coleslaw, recipe below. The flavours worked together really well.

    Japanese coleslaw:
    ½ cup Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise
    juice of 1 lemon juice
    ¼ tsp ground pepper
    6 cups thinly sliced cabbage
    1 cucumber, sliced into ribbons
    ¼ cup crispy fried shallots

  6. Made these again tonight because they were such a hit the first time I made them. Super easy to make and really tasty. The family love them.

  7. Did these tonight using chicken mince. Amazing! Family loved them. Had them on fettuccine.
So easy and all ingredients I had in the cupboard/fridge.

  8. Delicious – really loved the flavour of the sauce. I needed about 2/3 cup panko. And didn’t have any spring onions otherwise I would have used them.
Served with rice and steamed Asian greens.
Another slow-cooker meal that the fussy little one actually ate (minus the greens haha).

Is an understatement. Oh boy these were so good, so much flavour with simple ingredients. I doubled everything and used ginger from a jar, we served it with fried rice. I didn’t use the shallots only because my husband doesn’t like them but I highly recommend this recipe. Added bonus was my teenage son was quiet at the dinner table while polishing it off, a first for everything haha

  10. Made these yesterday. They were delicious but I probably mushed the meatball ingredients too much – the texture was too mushy/soft.
They were so simple- the sauce AMAZING

  11. Made this for the first time today and want be the last. The meatballs were very easy to make and the sauce was delish. Will be trying the sauce with chicken next. Served with mash and steamed veggies.

  12. Easy to make and very tasty hubby said was yum. I didn’t add shallots as kids don’t like green things hahaha I also used minced ginger .I found 3 hours was long enough on low. Will make this again for sure.

This one’s a winner. Delicious. So easy to prepare. I didn’t have plum sauce, so opened some bottled plums and threw in extra ginger. Also I used home made Quince BBQ sauce. Will definitely make again:-)

This was very good I will need to double the recipe next time as I have 4 hungry boys to feed and they were coming back for more and wanting more sauce…. I served with fried rice and Asian greens and honey carrots everyone was happy ?

  17. Made these today. they were amazing, so simple to make, and tasty, I served them with noodles. A new family favourite, Im thinking.

Oh boy, the sauce is plate lick able!!
I used ready made beef/pork meatballs.
In the sauce I used plum jam instead of sauce, and added mince, garlic and soy to sauce as well.
Served with SC fried rice for a complete Asian inspired meal as good as takeaway 😋
