Apple Cinnamon Cake – Canola, Dairy, Gluten, Lactose, Soy free
Ingredients
- 3 cups plain gf flour
- 2 cups brown or coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons apple juice (Kalangadoo Organic)
- 2 cups stewed apples
- Cinnamon to taste, I generally already have some in my apples
VARIATION
- 1 or 2 apples, cored and sliced in rings
- Approx 1/4 cup brown or coconut sugar
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients and mix. Add stewed apples and apple juice, mix until no dry patches.
- Line cooker bowl with baking paper and pour mixture in.
- Cover with tea towel under lid.
VARIATION
- Line cooker bowl with baking paper.
- Lay apple slices in bottom of bowl until covered, sprinkle with sugar. Pour mixture on top.
- Cover with tea towel under lid.
Cooking Time: approx 3 hrs on high (3.5L Crockpot slow cooker)
