3 Teacup Chicken

Ingredients
 

  • 1/4 cup gluten free soy sauce,
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar,
  • 1/4 cup sugar,
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil,
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons shaoxing wine or dry sherry,
  • 6 cloves garlic, smashed,
  • 8 1/4 inch ginger, peeled sliced,
  • 6 scallions or spring onions,
  • 1 diced red chilli,
  • 2 star anise, ,
  • 1 kg chicken, I used drumsticks,
  • I also put in a couple of tablespoons cornflour.

Instructions
 

  • I put everything into the slow cooker for 6 hours on low.
  • I removed the chicken bones before serving.
  • If a little thin added a little more cornflour.
  • I served with Fried Rice. Enjoy.
  • *Shaoxing Wine*
