Excellent recipe. Great flavours. I like to amp it up doing a tablespoon each of minced garlic and ginger, upping the soy and fish sauce to a tablespoon each. Also adding a teaspoon of ground cumin. Used a tablespoon of sweet chilli sauce instead of fresh chilli. Have used chicken breast and it does not dry out. Love how thick and lush the sauce turns out.
The best recipe for fudge! So easy I could do it in my sleep! The possibilities are endless.
I make one called surprise fudge. After Easter or Xmas I empty out the fridge of whatever random chocolates we have, weigh it up, add plain chocolate up to the required weight, then away we go! Every bite is a surprise flavour Haha
Absolutely delicious! Have had this multiple times and had excellent feedback everytime. I've tried it with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, all were great. I just use regular cream cheese and French onion soup mix. Served with penne pasta.
Amazing! I've done these with chicken mince and turkey mince, both were delicious. I've also added finely grated carrot, dried parsley and paprika, takes them to a whole new level!
Love this recipe! Love that it has so many veggies. Have done it several times now. I omit the capsicum and use extra of all other veg. I also use passata instead of sauce, and make my own bechamel (white sauce) from scratch. Note: do not use fresh lasagne sheets as it turns to mush being cooked too long, learnt the hard way haha
Must have done something wrong as the rice was still hard and crunchy after 1.5hrs. Didn't have wine so just added extra stock, would this be why it didn't cook correctly? Also only had medium grain rice. Was really looking forward to it too 🙁
Great recipe! I've done a couple of variations now. First time I followed recipe, was a bit salty with the French onion soup. Second time I used half the amount of soup mix, and added sweet potato every third layer. Third time used vegeta as I didn't have soup mix and didn't use onion. All were fantastic!
Didn't cook in time specified, had to chuck in oven on high heat so that some of the veg was ready for dinner. Good flavour though.
Perfect size for a small family, love that I have another recipe for my baby sc! Was a bit sweet using just BBQ sauce, will try again with some tomato paste, mustard and Worcestershire. Didn't have French onion soup mix so used vegeta instead. Also added a small grated carrot.
This was a hit with my slow cooker hating partner hahaha. He said this is one of the best recipes I've done. Toddler gobbled it up too. I've found the Coles brand pesto is much nicer than the Leggos one. I add 3 cups of pasta, 3 very large chunky cut mushrooms, and spinach.
