This would have to be one of my favourite slow cooker meals! I usually thicken the sauce with gravy. Any leftovers go into rolls the next day.
Fantastic recipe. After reading the reviews, I added 3 cups of chicken stock instead of 2 & left the almonds out. I made this to go with the sticky honey chicken my son made from this site. Will definitely make again.
My 16 year old son made this & it was beautiful. He doubled everything except the soy sauce. Half way through cooking he said there wasn’t any sauce & added a bit more. Only downfall it was a bit gluggy, not sure if that’s from the flour on the chicken?
Enjoyed this as a side dish & I added carrots too. My MIL commented how nice they were, so I will write the recipe down & show her how to do it for herself adding in a chicken breast to make a meal.
