So yum! Must admit, I was a little concerned about two packets of French onion soup being too much. But decided to trust the recipe and put two packets in. So glad I did, not over powering at all. The flavours are beautiful and work perfectly together. Will make again soon .

Cooked filling night before and made into a family pie for dinner tonight. I used rump steak as thatβs what I had. Iβm thinking the 20mins in the oven must be for individual pies, as mine took at least 60mins to brown up. Will do individual pies next time, maybe in pie maker. I warmed the meat filling before adding to pastry. Give it a try and I hope you love it as much as we did π

I love flavour and this dish is jam packed with flavour! Loved by all. Will be a regular in this house from now on. Also great on the budget. Ticks all the boxes for me.

This is my favourite SC recipe! We love mushrooms, so I add some chopped mushrooms in the last hour of cooking. I also add a peeled potato (to absorb some of the salt) in the last hour and throw out at the end. My only regret is not knowing about this recipe sooner!

So easy and amazing flavour! I used drumsticks and added a teaspoon of minced garlic and some cracked pepper to the sauce. Will make again for sure.
